Vienna's English Theatre

As every year our school has been visited by “Vienna’s English theatre” to present the adapted  play “Spooked” adapted from  Oscar  Wildes’ “Canterville Ghost”.

In this new adaptation, the famous Canterville Ghost must assert himself in our present day. Given computer games and smartphones, as well as the disrespect of teenagers, this is no easy task for an ancient ghost. To make matters worse, the old castle is slated for sale and demolition.

Ultimately, the story has a happy ending: the Canterville Ghost is freed from his curse, and the old castle is returned to its owner.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the play and were happy to participate as extras.
